When I try to import contacts from an .xlsx file, I get the “…[Microsoft][ODBC Excel Driver] General error Unable to open registry key Temporary (volatile) Ace DSN for process 0x18e4 Thread 0x210c DBC 0xd060064” error. Any ideas?
Such or similar error occurs when you try to import emails from an Excel file or connect to an Excel file in any of these cases:
1. The file name contains brackets (), {}, [], comma, semicolon, or other special characters.
2. The path to the file contains brackets (), {}, [], comma, semicolon, or other special characters.
3. The path to the file is too long (more than 250 characters).
