I’ve upgraded from the ver 6 to G-Lock EasyMail7. How do I transfer my data to the new version?

You can install G-Lock EasyMail7 on the same computer where the v6 is installed. But the databases of the two programs are not compatible so you will have to re-enter the settings manually.

You will have to re-create email server accounts and enter the SMTP settings in G-Lock EasyMail7 manually.

As to contact groups, in G-Lock EasyMail7 you can create the groups directly from G-Lock EasyMail v6 groups. You will find the instructions how to do this in this tutorial.

And in this tutorial, you will find the information about how to import your email templates you have in the v6 into the v7.

After you transfer all program settings to the v7, you can uninstall G-Lock EasyMail v6 if you don’t need it, or you can keep the v6 and have both programs on the same computer.
